Jaime Luna is a Lee County original, born and raised right here in Giddings, TX. Although he's been a lot of places and accomplished much since graduating up the road from our Giddings store, he's glad to have made his way back home.
Jaime believes that a good attitude, a willingness to learn, and hard work are the keys to success in life. His first job in high school was as a dishwasher in a local restaurant, which gave him an early taste of the hospitality industry. After graduating, he left central Texas to play college football for Sul Ross University before going on to earn his degree at Blinn College in Bryan, TX, thinking he might like to pursue a career in criminal justice. But the lure of customer service drew him back to the restaurant business with Pluckers Wing Bar, where he quickly ascended the ranks from entry-level server to upper management and helped launch the company's first Houston store. Later on, he would be instrumental in launching the first Texas location of a New York-based casual restaurant before relocating to San Antonio in 2017 to help a friend and business partner create a brand new, independent restaurant brand from the ground up, taking it to a $5 million business in a matter of a few years.
These days, you'll find Jaime plying those same skills around our Giddings store, doing his part to deliver the top-notch customer service you've come to expect from Carmine Feed. He believes in getting to know his customers by name and consistently serving their needs. "I want to build relationships with my people," he says. "And if something isn't right, I want my people to know I'm going to do my best to make it right."
